CHICORY INGREDIENTS RANGE

Chicory ingredients are extracted from the chicory root in a natural way, using only environmentally friendly processes in order to ensure safe and natural ingredients.

The extracted soluble fibres are tasteless, odourless and have a white colour. Chicory inulin and oligofructose are constituted of chains of fructose units, either with or without a glucose unit at the end.

Fibruline Instant, a chicory inulin, provides:

  • Restoration of mouthfeel
  • Minimum 90% dietary fibre
  • Only 1.2kcal/g
  • Minimum 10% solubility

Fibrulose F97, a chicory oligofructose, ensures:

  • Sugar reduction
  • Low water activity
  • No effect on texture
  • 97% dietary fibre
  • Only 3% free sugars
  • Only 1.1kcal/g
  • Minimum 35% solubility

PEA INGREDIENTS RANGE

Pea ingredients are processed from the yellow pea by gentle physical processes, such as dehulling, milling, sieving, decantation and pasteurisation, followed by concentration and drying steps. All ingredients are clean label (GMO free, gluten free and not on the EU list of allergens).

Pea protein Pisane provides:

  • Water and fat binding by emulsification
  • Texture improvement
  • Protein enrichment
  • 90% protein

Swelite, a pea fibre, provides:

  • Water binding (one part for eight parts of water)
  • Water and fat binding by absorption
  • Texture improvement
  • Yield improvement

Exafine, a pea hull fibre, ensures:

  • Water binding (one part for three to four parts of water)
  • Fibre enrichment
  • Texture improvement

Pea starch Nastar provides:

  • Water binding
