Clean Air Australasia Environmentally Friendly Sanitisation and Microbial Control and Protection

Clean Air Australasia provides environmentally friendly sanitisation and microbial control and protection solutions to help you ensure that your food processing facilities are sanitary and meet the highest standards of cleanliness.

Ozone sanitisation technology

Clean Air Australasia is a member of The International Ozone Association. Approved by the USDA Organic Rule in 2000 and by the FDA in 2001, ozone technology has become a major player in the food and beverage industry and is steadily replacing conventional sanitation techniques.

As a powerful natural oxidiser, ozone is one of the most cost-effective and environment-friendly sanitisation methods. When properly applied with a CAA ozone system, ozone oxidation creates no by-products – the only thing left behind is oxygen. It is suitable for use in cold water, saving both energy and money and enabling surface disinfection in applications where heating large quantities of hot water is unfeasible or too costly.

An organic sanitiser

Ozone is a single-source organic sanitiser that can destroy a wide range of bacteria, fungus, moulds, yeasts, spores and cysts. Ozone technology provides effective sanitation in many food and beverage applications, including:

  • Container sanitation
  • Bottling line and filler sanitation
  • Processing and transfer equipment
  • Surface sanitation
  • Produce disinfection and storage (e.g. fruits, vegetables, meat, spices, nuts and seeds)

Ozone is recognised as an antimicrobial disinfectant by the EPA and by the FDA for direct food applications and food processing surface disinfection.

Antimicrobial sanitising

Clean Air Australasia is an authorised service provider of Fresche coatings. Fresche is a high-performance surface hygiene solution that provides microbial control and protection in domestic, commercial or industrial manufacturing environments.

Traditional sanitisers and cleaners reduce bacteria to a safe level, but everyday factors such as human contact, spills and airborne pathogens mean that bacteria can quickly spread again. Fresche surface coatings contain a unique molecule that attaches to the surface, providing long-term, durable protection that is also safe for the environment and people. Simply put, Fresche keeps your surfaces cleaner, longer.

Food-safe surface coatings

Food manufacturing environments present significant hygiene challenges. As a highly effective broad spectrum anti-bacterial, anti-fungal mould and odour control treatment, Fresche is ideal for food production and storage environments.

Fresche coatings protect against microbial attack and stop microbes from colonising the surface. Surface hygiene applications in the food and beverage industry include:

  • Food storage
  • Food processing
  • Food packaging
  • Food distribution
  • Bottling equipment

Green antimicrobial surface protection

Many antimicrobials and disinfectants contain chemicals that do not readily break down and often bio-accumulate in the natural environment. Some even produce halogenated by-products such as carcinogenic trihalomethanes. These factors raise serious concerns about the impact on human health and the environment.

Fresche is safe for people, animals, plants and the environment. It is the cleanest and greenest surface bonded antimicrobial on the market.
