FOURIER TRANSFORM NIR ANALYZER FOR LIQUIDS, SOLIDS, POWDERS AND GRAINS

The Bruker Optics MPA is a multi-purpose analyser, combining flexibility and the power of FT-NIR spectroscopy. The MPA offers everything you need for the analysis of liquids, solids, powders and grains.

The MPA is the ideal tool for developing robust methods. Initially, it is often not obvious which sampling method is the best for the given task. With the MPA, several methods can be tested and the results compared. With fiber optic probes, liquid and solid samples can be measured directly in their containers. The sample compartment offers a comfortable way of measuring liquid samples in corvettes and vials. Optionally, the unit can be temperature controlled for most sensitive applications. The integrating sphere is the ideal tool for the measurement of coarse material like powders and grains, but also for various food products like meat, cheese or yoghurt.

The robustness of the instrument allows it to be used in the laboratory or the factory floor. The MPA can be connected to your laptop via plug and play ethernet and can even be placed on a utility cart to improve its mobility.

The award winning MATRIX-F allows the direct measurement in vessels and pipelines, leading to a better understanding and control of the process. Its innovative design provides consistent high quality results, less downtime, direct method transfer and the possibility of applications that less sensitive and precise instruments are incapable of.

Utilizing the built-in and external multiplexer options up to 48 reactions can be monitored by a single instrument. A wide range of probe adaptations are available for determining analyte concentrations in liquid and emulsions as well as in powders and solids.

The new external measurement head is the ideal solution for measuring liquids and solids through a viewing window or over a conveyor belt. Six external heads can be connected to one MATRIX-F spectrometer.

FT-NIR ANALYZER FOR AT-LINE QUALITY CONTROL

The MATRIX-I is a rugged FT-NIR spectrometer for measuring solids and paste-like materials. Samples can be measured directly in their containers, e.g. plastic bags or filled into standard cups like beakers or petri dishes. This method is ideal for measuring large amounts of materials, and particularly useful for analyzing inhomogeneous samples or large particle size items such as grains or seeds.

Several accessories are available such as sample rotators for maximizing the measured surface and improving the stability of the calibration. With a developer's tool kit and ActiveX controls, MATRIX-I can be programmed with VB scripts, allowing more flexibility. Furthermore, secure computer interfacing, via standard ethernet, using TCP/IP protocol and an embedded HTML server, enables easy connectivity.
