Coca-Cola Q3 Profits Rise

The Coca-Cola Company has reported an 8% increase in third-quarter profits to stand at $2.06bn compared with $1.9bn last year.

The beverage giant’s sales also rose 5% to $8.43bn while worldwide case volume was up 5%.

Coca-Cola said its volume grew by 2% in North America, while it rose 6% internationally.

Russia witnessed the highest sales growth at 30%, with Eurasia and Africa at 12%, the company said.

Coca-Cola expects to repurchase $2bn of its shares by the end of this year.
