Food Companies Get Right Ingredients for Brand Growth

Leading food brands have become some of the world’s most successful, following events of the last year, which has seen financial brand names drop in popularity. This was the finding of the Best Global Brands report.

While the overall value of the world’s top 100 brands dropped by 4.6%, Coca-Cola (with the world’s top brand value of $68.7bn), Kellogg’s, Nestlé and McDonald’s all experienced a raise in value of their brands.

A report released about the same time by Interbrand showed that in the UK, Cadbury’s is the most popular brand. Another survey, by FreshMinds, showed that McDonald’s, despite having the sixth-highest brand value, is the most hated with Tesco and Coca-Cola not far behind.
