Parker Products starts construction of new plant in Fort Worth

US-based ingredients provider Parker Products has initiated the construction of its new 90,000ft² facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

Scheduled to open in 2018, the company will move its operations to the new location upon completion.

Parker Products president Greg Hodder said: “Our current plant was built in the 1950s, so there were multiple drivers behind building a new facility.

“Primarily, the additional space will accommodate anticipated future growth. The new facility is a collaboration among Emergent Technologies, Elements of Architecture, the City of Fort Worth, the HWH Group, and Todd Hubbard with NAI Real Estate.

“We appreciate the work all of these organisations have done and will do as the plant is completed over the next year.”

The company anticipates that the new facility will triple its production capacity and serve as the hub of its skill-step validation and food safety initiatives.

Parker offers its products to a wide range of industries that comprise baking, dairy, beverage, confectionery and snack companies.
