China Nutrifruit Begins Production of New Glazed Fruit Line

China Nutrifruit Group, a producer of specialty fruit-based products in China, has begun production of its new glazed fruit production line at its Daqing facility in Heilongjiang Province, China.

The glazed fruit production line will have an annual production capacity of 1,200t and will be mainly used for producing golden berry and blueberry glazed fruit products.

China Nutrifruit Group said the production line will be automated, meaning production costs can be kept down and labour reduced by about 50% in comparison to standard production lines.

China Nutrifruit CEO Jinglin Shi said strong demand and rapid growth in sales has led to the upgrade of its production line for golden berry and recently launched blueberry glazed fruit products.

“The new production line further strengthens our confidence that we will meet our fiscal 2010 guidance of approximately $72m-$76.0m in revenue and $18.5m in net income,” Shi said.
