Ewe agency to support Hartleys with expansion plans

UK-based frozen vegetable supplier Hartleys has appointed Ewe agency to support its expansion plans after an investment of £2.5m in a new Yorkshire production facility.

The new facility will help the company to further expand its footprint in the UK and Europe. Hartleys supplies frozen vegetables to brands such as Heinz, New Covent Garden and Baxters, with over 12% of its total volume comprised of organic ingredients.

Hartleys managing director Tom Verity said: "Ewe bring some great experience in this sector and share our rigorous and strategic approach to business.

"This campaign will drive our business forward and provide a great marketing platform to support our investment and generate growth."

Hartleys supplies a variety of organic vegetables from Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Herefordshire and Scotland. It also works with approved networks of organic partners in Europe for imported ingredients such as peppers, onions, sweetcorn.

Ewe, previously known as PCD agency, was recently re-launched after it was acquired by digital specialists Whole9Yards.
