Lunii Foods partners with AATAC to bring European chocolate brands to the US

US-based importer and distributor of premium European chocolates, snacks, and grocery items Lunii Foods has partnered with the Asian American Trade Association Council (AATAC) to introduce European brands such as Milka, ANL Chocolate Surprise Eggs, Prince Polo, and Pergale onto the US retail market.

These products will now be retailed across convenience stores, micro markets, upscale hoteliers, universities, and vending companies, as well as drug and discount department stores.

Lunii Foods' director of strategic alliances Gene Wright said: “AATAC is an important strategic partner in the convenience store channel and has enabled us to grow our brands much more rapidly than we could alone. AATAC's onboarding process is fast, efficient, and has delivered excellent results.”

AATAC is a US retailer association, which collectively represents over 80,000 gas stations and convenience stores. The association works towards establishing new relationships with select corporate suppliers and industry leaders to improve the entire network.

AATAC notifies its direct and affiliate members on the latest developments through a wide range of engaging platforms including newsletters, e-blasts, and trade shows.

AATAC's south east regional director Michael Kim said: “Our partnership with Lunii Foods through the distribution resolution and implementation programme (DRIP) means that we can now quickly introduce these hot selling products to our retail network at a fraction of the cost and time that traditional industry methods have allowed for in the past.

“By working closely with our distributors and vendors in this unique programme, we are able to offer a solution to the industry that will streamline the way vendors interact with our retail communities.”

AATAC started the D.R.I.P, which aims to quickly drive sales by utilising an intuitive proprietary web-based application in conjunction with its own network stores.
