The Green Food Safety Coach Food Sustainability, Safety and Quality Training Services

The Green Food Safety Coach provides consultation services and training programmes for the food processing industry to help clients meet regulatory guidelines such as Hazard and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and the International Standardisation Organisation (ISO) 22000.

These comprehensive workshops help food industry companies address quality and safety issues, including temperature control, potentially hazardous foods, stock rotation, record keeping and hygiene.

The Green Food Safety Coach was established by Rachelle Wiliams and has more than 15 years’ experience in designing customised sustainability, regulatory compliance and quality assurance (QA) systems.

HACCP and ISO 22000 audit preparation for food manufacturers

The Green Food Safety Coach ensures that small-to-medium-sized businesses meet Australian food safety requirements, while reducing their operating costs and ecological footprint in preparation for government grant applications.

HACCP and ISO: 22000 programmes help clients prepare for audits and maintain the standards required for certification. The package includes a three-hour training session for food handlers, who receive a food safety licence. Document change control and validation programmes are also implemented.

The Green Food Safety Coach’s methods reduce the occurrence of incidents such as food poisoning outbreaks and product recalls. They allow clients to expand their customer base to areas that require high levels of food safety control.

Food safety programme and support

The Green Food Safety Coach’s food safety programmes comprise regular consultations, training sessions, and the provision of documentation such as procedure manuals, risk assessments, flowcharts, schedules and reports. This paperwork is audited by third-party auditors.

It continues to provide internal auditing, document changes and other services after a food safety or HACCP programme has been delivered.

Customised safety training for food preparation

With experience across the industry, The Green Food Safety Coach will create a custom food safety training programme to meet clients’ specific requirements.

Training sessions can be performed face-to-face or online via webinars and Skype.

Participants will be taught by an experienced and qualified trainer, who will help them learn food safety skills and knowledge.

Quality systems development and reducing carbon footprint

The Green Food Safety Coach supports food-related businesses to implement sustainable practices into their business model. It helps avoid bad habits and finds the main barriers to change, which may include a lack of incentive or knowledge, attitude and facility placement.

The company helps businesses of all sizes to introduce environmentally friendly processes and reduce their carbon footprint cost-effectively.
