ConAgra Foods Acquires American Pie

ConAgra Foods has completed the acquisition of the assets of American Pie.

A production facility in Torrance, California, is included in the transaction and will join ConAgra’s existing manufacturing network.

American Pie will be managed as part of ConAgra’s existing Marie Callender’s frozen business, within the company’s consumer foods segment.

American Pie manufactures frozen fruit pies, thaw-and-serve pies, fruit cobblers, pie crusts, frozen dinners, pot pies and appetisers.

American Pie’s 125 employees, located in Torrance and Woodbury, New York, are expected to join ConAgra when the deal closes.
