Tessenderlo Sets Up Brazil Gelatin Factory

Chemicals company Tessenderlo Group is constructing a new factory for the production of gelatin in Mato Grosso, Brazil.

The production unit will be operational in 2011 and is expected to employ about 100 people.

Tessenderlo Group considers gelatin to be one of its key growth areas and says the production line will help it reach its goal of an increase in shares by 70 %.

Tessenderlo Group has production sites for gelatin in Argentina, China, Europe and the US.
