Cooperative Eyes Production Plant in Netherlands

DeltaMilk is in discussions with Royal FrieslandCampina’s cheese production arm to take over a plant at Bleskensgraaf, the Netherlands.

The milk suppliers cooperative, based in Meerkerk, also in the Netherlands, said its proposed the acquisition and includes production lines, land, buildings, machinery and recipes.

If the deal goes ahead, the 50 staff working at the plant will also be transferred to DeltaMilk.

Bleskensgraaf makes Gouda cheese products and its Bleskensgraaf facility has a production capacity of 39,000t of cheese a year.
