TNA expands Dutch manufacturing facility with food processing hub

Global food processing solutions supplier TNA has expanded its manufacturing facility in the Netherlands with a new food processing hub.

With a total area of 3,600m², the facility will feature an expanded Food Technology Testing Centre (FTTC), as well as a dedicated product demonstration area, which includes processing and packaging equipment in a single location.

In order to provide its customers with a first-hand experience of how TNA’s equipment operates in a fully operational factory setting, the new FTCC has been fitted with a wide range of food processing solutions.

TNA intends to further strengthen its position in the food processing equipment manufacturing sector for the potato and vegetable processing industries.

Located in Woerden, 30km from Amsterdam, TNA’s manufacturing facility will be engaged in the production of equipment such as fryers, freezers, peelers, washers and dryers.

TNA co-founder and director Nadia Taylor said: “We’re incredibly excited to officially open our new food processing centre.

“The new site is three times bigger than the previous Florigo factory, which not only strengthens our current manufacturing capabilities but also ensures that we have the capacity to further expand our operations in the future.

“It’s also great news for our customers who now have even more room to test our equipment. From cutting and drying through to frying, seasoning and distribution, all the way to our high-speed packaging technology, the new factory will be the first place where we’ll get to showcase our entire range of start-to-finish solutions.”

Additionally, TNA intends to showcase all control technologies in order to help food manufacturers to have a better understanding of how advanced equipment integration, detailed data collection and cloud-based controls can transform their production line efficiencies.
