Stryve promotes new co-CEO and expands executive team to spur growth

US-based healthy snack foods manufacturing company Stryve has promoted Jaxie Alt to the role of co-CEO effective immediately.

In addition to Alt promotion, Stryve has also expanded its C-suite executive’s team. It has appointed Alex Hawkins as a chief operating officer and Billie Winkle as chief financial officer. It has also made Bruce Boettner as a chief sales officer.

Alt joined the company in March last year as chief marketing officer. This came after a 17-year association with Keurig Dr Pepper, where she was responsible for overseeing the product portfolio.

Stryve said that, since Alt joined the company, its sales have doubled. This has made it one of the ‘leading biltong brands’ in the US.

In her new role as the co-CEO of the company, Alt will continue to manage nationwide marketing efforts.

Stryve Board member and founder of Rx Bar Peter Rahal said: “Jaxie’s passion to put something healthy in the world is contagious.

According to industry estimates, the meat snack sector in the US grew more than 9% in the last year.

Stryve added that it aims to double its sales this year in the US market.
