Chiorino HP conveyor belts boost production at Galletas Gullon

Galletas Gullon, a Spanish cracker manufacturer, has announced that it has successfully increased its production levels following the installation of Chiorino HP food quality conveyor belts in its factories.

Chiorino UK manufactures conveyor and transmission belts, primarily for the food production industry, and the company recently supplied Galletas Gullon with 20 HP conveyor belts for their IMAFONI conveyors.

According to Chiorino, its HP conveyor belts are resistant to aggressive oils released during the food production cycles abd to various chemicals such as detergents.

The belts are manufactured using a sophisticated calendaring production system, which keeps the surface of the belt compact and homogeneous.

Chiorino UK managing director Carl Johnson said that the total absence of cracking stops the formation of bacterial colonies on the surface of the belts.

"This allows us to present a declaration of compliance to all our customers that proves our materials are safe to be in contact with foodstuffs," Johnson added.
