Global food processing company Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) is set to introduce its extended range of sweeteners from corn, wheat, stevia and fruits at this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai.

The new range will be showcased along with its other products, including colours, flavours, flavour systems and juice blends.

ADM will also present its existing range of plant-based proteins for meat and vegetarian applications and other functional ingredients, which can be used for a variety of food and beverage applications.

WILD Flavors and Specialty Ingredients Middle East managing director Ramesh Sambamoorthy said: “At ADM, we have access to an extensive array of research tools, techniques and methodologies and use these insights to help our customers connect with the needs of consumers in different areas of the world.

“The samples on show at Gulfood Manufacturing have been designed to excite visitors and demonstrate that we can help develop products that not only align with the latest trends in the region but also taste great.”

In addition to its sweetener products, ADM will also offer a wide range of prototypes, such as malt, energy, still and carbonated soft drinks at this event.

The beverages offered will include natural flavours such as ginger, honey and different exotic fruits, as well as functional ingredients such as chia and added vitamins.

Sambamoorthy further added: “We are continuing to make major investments to grow our capabilities across the Middle East and Africa and look forward to further strengthening our network of customers, distributors and agents in Dubai this year.”
