Medically supervised weight loss and wellness company Lindora has launched a line of keto-friendly meals under its sub-brand LindoraFresh.

Initially, the range will offer 18 ketogenic meals.

Lindora CEO Will Righeimer said: “LindoraFresh is the next step for us to provide healthy food solutions to our patients in order to help them eat better and live a healthier lifestyle.

“LindoraFresh offers our patients a simple, convenient way to eat healthy while on the go.”

Lindora vice-president of product development Chad Somers said: “Like most of us, our patients live busy, on-the-go lives, and while we would all love to find the time to prepare every meal at home, that’s not always easy or realistic.

“LindoraFresh gives our patients high protein, low carb, convenient, healthy meal options with clean ingredients they can feel good about.”

“LindoraFresh gives our patients high protein, low carb, convenient, healthy meal options with clean ingredients they can feel good about, for their entire family. These are not frozen, processed foods. They are fresh, whole foods that patients can pick up from our refrigerated section at each of our clinics.”

Consumers can buy breakfast, lunch and dinner at any of Lindora’s 34 southern California clinics in the US.

The brand plans to expand the line to 50 healthy options by the end of the year.

Righeimer and Somers, who led the organic health and wellness division at Mars, stated that the LindoraFresh line is the first of its kind within the weight loss and wellness category.

This line is claimed to be a superior alternative to pre-packaged and frozen foods sold by several weight loss companies, which often contain artificial ingredients and preservatives.

The company is owned by Solis Capital Partners and Innovate Partners, both of which are located in Newport Beach, California.

Last month, Koia and Whole Foods Market launched a range of drinks that are suitable for people on a ketogenic diet.

Called Koia Keto, the dessert-inspired line comes in Chocolate Brownie, Cake Batter and Caramel Crème flavours.
