Deals this week: Food2U, Freshboxx Ventures, Hunan Dakang International Food and Agriculture

Myanmar-based food delivery services provider Food2U has secured funding in a venture financing round.

The company was founded by Kyaw Myo Thet.

The round was led by Premium Distribution.

Freshboxx Ventures has secured angel funding from Sandbox Startups.

Based in India, Sandbox Startups is a subsidiary of Deshpande Foundation and provides incubation support and co-working space. It has also provided funding for Wide Mobility Mechatronics and Microchip Payments.

Freshboxx Ventures is an Indian retailer of fresh and organic quality fruits and vegetables.

Chinese pig breeder, producer and distributor Hunan Dakang International Food and Agriculture has reached an agreement for a private placement of shares.

The company plans to issue more than one billion shares as part of the transaction, to raise up to CNY2.93bn ($466.72m).

The controlling shareholders include Shanghai Pengxin Group, Houkang Industrial, Hechen Chemistry and Jilong Hehui Industrial.

Beijing Xiannongshi Organic Agriculture Technology has secured $15.9m in a series A funding round from ZSY Capital and Colour Life Services Group.

Based in China, Beijing Xiannongshi Organic Agriculture Technology is an organic farming technology company.
