Deals this week: Arla Foods, Everyday Gourmet Kitchen, Envictus International Holdings Limited

Danish dairy products manufacturer Arla Foods has raised a sum of Skr750m ($86.92m) through a public offering of senior notes.

The notes carry a fixed coupon rate of 1.507% a year and are due in July 2023.

Arla Foods also plans to raise Skr750m ($86.92m) via an additional public offering of senior notes.

These notes, also due in July 2023, will carry a floating coupon rate of 0.970% plus a Stockholm Interbank Offered Rate (STIBOR), which matures in three months.

Everyday Gourmet Kitchen (EGK) Foods has raised Rs20m ($0.29m) in a pre-seed round of funding led by an individual, Pradyumna Kokil.

Everyday Gourmet Kitchen is an Indian company that primarily sells packaged crispy fried onions.

The company plans to use the newly raised funds to upgrade its infrastructure and expand its distribution network.

Envictus International Holdings Limited plans to raise S$18.16m ($13.43m) by offering 113 million new ordinary shares, priced at S$0.16 ($0.12) a share, in a renounceable non-underwritten rights issuance.

The transaction also comprises up to 113 million warrants, with each warrant carrying the right to subscribe to one new ordinary share at a price of S$0.16 ($0.12).

Singapore-based Envictus International is an investment holding company.

The company plans to use the funds to repay its debts and expand its business operations.

Bubs Australia Limited has raised A$40m ($29.76m) through a share placement to both Australia-based and international professional and sophisticated investors.

The company will issue 53.5 million new shares equal to its existing shares as part of the transaction.

Bubs Australia is an Australian firm that offers organic food products.

The company plans to use the funds raised from the offering for working capital purposes, in addition to developing new products, product branding and capital expenditure.

KazFoodProducts has received $25m in funding from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Kazakhstan-based KazFoodProducts is a food processing group operating in the grain milling and confectionery sectors, while IFC is a private equity and venture capital unit of the World Bank Group.

KazFoodProducts plans to use the funds raised as part of its expansion initiative, which is aimed at boosting the country’s agricultural sector and improving global food security.

HUNGRY has raised $1.5m in seed funding from Ahisma Investment, GP Ventures, OnRamp Fund and private investors.

HUNGRY is a US-based online platform that is primarily focused on connecting independent chefs with the catering market.

The funds will be used for business expansion, talent acquisition and other development purposes.
