CJ BIO opens new facility for natural savoury flavours in Indonesia

Savoury solution provider CJ BIO has opened its natural flavour ingredient manufacturing facility in Jombang, Indonesia.

The new facility will be used by the company to produce thousands of tons of TasteNrich, its new natural culinary solution.

CJ Bio health business and human nutrition business executive Lance Choi said: “In response to the changing needs of the food industry and consumers, we have created TasteNrich with our world-class biotechnology capability and constant efforts towards innovative technology at our R&D centre.

“We will reach the top of the natural savoury market by providing healthier and more tasty solutions with TasteNrich.”

By opening its new facility, the company intends to further reinforce its position as a leading savoury solution provider.

The company further added that food consumers have become more health-conscious and are focusing on what they eat every day and where it comes from.

CJ Bio claims that its TasteNrich allows food manufacturers and developers to achieve clean label and worry-free claims such as non-GMO, non-allergen, non-animal and Halal/Kosher certified.

It added that its product also serves as a natural savoury flavour with the potential to upgrade the authentic flavour. It can be used in a wide range of all food categories such as sauces, seasonings, soups and noodles.
