Uber launches food delivery app UberEats in Montreal, Quebec


Uber Canada has launched its UberEats food delivery service in Montreal, Quebec, in partnership with more than 100 restaurants in the region.

The UberEats food delivery app enables Montreal citizens to order the food they want from a wide range of options.

UberEats Montreal manager Greg Perowne said: "Beyond great meals, UberEats creates new flexible economic opportunities for restaurant and delivery partners that will benefit the Montreal economy.”

UberEATS will deliver Montrealers a selection of food items from places such as L'Gros Luxe, Europea, Venice MTL, and Uniburger.

Restaurants across Montreal will be able to connect to the Uber delivery network in order to further expand their business and improve customer base.

L'Gros Luxe CEO Alex Bastide said: "L'Gros Luxe restaurants are very pleased to partner with UberEats, enabling hundreds of thousands of Montrealers to discover our cuisine with the push of a button or to order their favourite dishes.
