Suba Seeds collaborates with Gallatin Valley Seeds


Suba Seeds Group has signed an agreement with US-based vegetable seed producer Gallatin Valley Seeds, for producing and marketing pea and bean varieties in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

A producer of vegetable and legume seeds, Suba is a portfolio company of Paine Schwartz Partners.

Headquartered in Idaho, Gallatin Valley Seeds produces high-quality pea, bean and sweet corn seeds for the North American market.

Suba Seeds chief executive officer Marcello Tumedei said: "We look forward to working together to deliver industry-leading pea and bean seed offerings to new and existing customers across Europe, Africa and the Middle East."

Founded in 1974 in Italy, Suba has been offering speciality vegetable seeds for the professional, semi-professional, and hobby garden markets across the globe, as well as a contract supplier to a diverse set of global seed companies.

It also offers a portfolio of core crops, including varieties of beans, peas, radish, cabbage, alfalfa, carrots, chicory, and onion.
