M&As this week: CK Life Sciences, Fishpeople Seafood, Verde Farms
Hong Kong company CK Life Sciences has announced plans to acquire 50% of the total issued share capital of New Zealand-based Dominion Salt for A$33.5m ($24.64m).
CK Life Sciences is engaged in the production and sale of health and agriculture-related products, while Dominion Salt is a producer and refiner of salt.
Seafood manufacturer and supplier Fishpeople Seafood has announced the merger with wholesale company Ilwaco Landing Fishermen.
Both companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.
Grass-fed and free-range beef provider Verde Farms has acquired Estancia Beef, the import division of El Raigon Natural Beef, a company engaged in the production and processing of grass-fed beef.
All the companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.
UK-based Roofoods has announced the acquisition of American ready-made meal provider Maple.
The deal was backed by Greenoaks Capital Management and Roofoods.
Roofoods is the operator of food delivery platform Deliveroo.
