Axxya Systems launches new food labelling and recipe analysis app

US-based Axxya Systems has launched its Nutritionist Pro nexgen nutrition food labelling and recipe analysis cloud app for use in Canada, Europe, Hong Kong and the US.

The new cloud application will help customers use any device from anywhere to create nutrition food labels in English, Spanish, French and Chinese and also analyse recipes for the nutrient profile.

The application also include the use of extensive food/ingredient database to see nutrient profile of the recipe / formula, develop unlimited recipes and view nutrient breakdown and cost per portion, and organise recipes in easy to find books to make management simpler.

Axxya Systems CEO Shazia Nathoo said: "Comparable software and applications in the market today cost an exorbitant amount for licensing.

"It’s time we created an affordable premium tool for restaurants, food manufacturers and consultants that can be quickly implemented to new and existing foods, has a low training requirement, and actually helps refocus the client’s savings to use for their growth."

The application will also help the users to compare their product against the country’s set nutrient content claims such as fat free and low-saturated fat, as well as to edit, resize, colour or manipulate labels as required.

In addition, it can tag allergens and report them on the final label.

The US labels can be created using either the newest cloud-based app or the desktop version.
