Deals this week: JV Foodworks, Axzon

JV Foodworks has secured a Pre-Series A round of funding from GAIL (India).

JV Foodworks produces and sells healthy and nutritional snacks under the brand name Hungry Foal, while GAIL (India) is engaged in natural gas processing and distribution.

Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in India.

Denmark-based international producer of pork products Axzon plans to raise €135m ($156.52m) in aggregate principal amount through an issue of floating rate senior secured bonds due 2021.

To be issued in a public offering, the bonds will be priced at 100% of the principal amount.

The company has engaged Pareto Securities as a financial advisor and Kromann Reumert as the legal counsel for the transaction.
