Case Study – Box Hill Hospital
The Box Hill Hospital redevelopment comprises a new clinical services building, which spans approximately 52,000m² across ten storeys.
It incorporates capacity for more than 200 additional beds, a larger and more efficient emergency department, a new intensive care unit, 11 operating theatres, specialist cardiology services, a woman’s services facility, and a two-level basement car park.
Penetrative water-based, non-toxic solution DEFLECTA ANTIMICROBIAL® was applied to the concrete substrate at the time of pour prior to carpet and vinyl installation. The solution is bio-degradable and is ideally suitable as an effective pre-treatment for topical coatings within the health and food industry.
