ON DEMAND TRAINING (ODT)

Halo's On Demand Training (ODT) is an equipment and process support tool that gives instant access to a unique learning package. ODT modules deliver a diverse, extensive range of operational and maintenance information.

ODT modules can be conveniently provided via PCs, laptops, or intranet-based web browsers. The modules incorporate help links that ensure operators and maintenance staff are kept in close contact with equipment suppliers, minimising downtime and optimising performance and profitability.

The ODT software uses animation, video and voice-overs to provide a detailed learning and reference package that covers all topics defined during the needs analysis process.

The layout of the program is arranged as a series of menus and sub-menus that guide the user quickly to the correct material for their immediate needs. The user can decide whether to use the material as a learning tool or as a powerful reference tool.

On demand training can be used to cover individual pieces of equipment, complete production lines, or process systems. Its flexible nature means that it can cover the training and reference needs of almost any application.

NEEDS ANALYSIS

Our ODT packages are founded on a formal needs analysis process that is flexible enough to service both large and small projects. Needs analysis is the first phase of any On Demand Training project and is critical for a successful project.

ODT can vary in size from simple single equipment, through complete production lines, to factory-wide projects. By implication, the needs analysis of such projects can vary widely in their scope and time requirement.

Needs analysis for very simple projects is often taken care of during the pre-contract phase and is used as the basis of the commercial quotation.

The needs analysis process can take several days to prepare for more complex projects, and often requires one or two day onsite visits to discuss the project with several departments including the target users.

Halo Training provides an initial quote for carrying out needs analysis and delivers full reports before a commercial proposal is made for the supply of on demand packages.
