HORIZONTAL PROCESS TANK

The Horizontal Process Tank (HPT) can be used for an aseptic batch production and, with a special setup, can run with a continuous aseptic production line.

SENSITIVE AGITATOR FOR OPTIMUM MIXING

The HPT is uniquely compatible with several sensitive products. With the HPT's specially designed agitator the wings ensure optimum mixing.

Teflon-scrapers mounted on the outer rim of the agitator prevent product burns on the inner surface. This is a crucial point when considering the quality of the product in question. Furthermore, they help minimise product-losses and increase the energy transfer through the heating/cooling jacket.

HPT VACUUM SYSTEM

The vacuum system, with which the HPT constitutes its most effective form and output, enables you to suck solids and liquid in the HPT. Other and perhaps bigger articles can be lead through the manhole or funnel with a special elevator or conveyor system.

The wings and Teflon scrapers provide excellent mixing of the product. Furthermore, the coil at the innermost part of the whole agitator creates even better conditions regarding the quality and mixing of product.

HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM

The heating and cooling system is a vital factor when batch output per hour and product quality is the subject of discussion. With more than ten years of development in this particular area, we can provide the HPT with a special spiral heating oil agitator for extreme fast heating. For the cooling process, a special cooling oil agitator can be used for speeding up this process as well.

REDUCED PROCESS TIME

By using our special integrated heating and cooling coils, you can reduce the process time significantly.

By using one cooker and two coolers, you get a continuous production line where you can begin the next batch when the current batch running is lead to the cooling unit. This alone gives you a head start, and numerous possibilities to improve your production line.

But the real benefit comes with our special heating and cooling coils. In the cooking unit, the total metre-squared of heating is raised from 6.8m² to 15.9m², with our heating coil. And in the cooling unit, the total metre-squared of cooling is raised with our cooling coil, from 6.8m² to 10.2m².
