We can meet your process requirements while working within your size and time limitations. Our engineers have the expertise, ASME and TEMA code knowledge, and industry experience to design heat exchangers for even the toughest applications. Additionally, our in-house machining and skilled craftsmen give us total control over the complete manufacturing process and the ability to regulate the quality and timely delivery of our units.

Enerquip heat exchangers are used for heating and cooling applications such as hot water sets, cooling water, CIP systems, sugar evaporators, pasteurization, cook water heating, whey permeate heating and cooling, and distilling. Enerquip also has a full line of standard and off-the-shelf heat exchangers available for fast delivery.

Sanitary-standard shell and tube heat exchangers

Our highly efficient standard U-tube design allows the tube bundle to expand and contract freely. This provides our customers with heat exchangers suitable for most food, dairy and beverage applications. Our designs include:

  • Sanitary 304ss construction with a 32 Ra sanitary finish
  • Removable/replaceable tube bundle
  • Rating for 150 PSIG at 375° F
  • ASME pressure testing and code stamp
  • 3A standard unit options

Enerquip's 40 standard sized heat exchangers are either in stock or available to be shipped in days instead of months. We also supply replacement tube bundles, gasket sets, and other parts for our heat exchangers to support our customers' maintenance programs.

3A dairy standard shell and tube heat exchangers

3A dairy standard shell and tube heat exchangers provide our customers with product contact surfaces which are cleanable, drainable, crevice-free, and a 32 Ra or better finish. We have been manufacturing tubular heat exchangers for milk, milk products, and other perishable foods since 1993.

Shell and tube custom heat exchangers

If our sanitary standard shell and tube heat exchangers won't meet your needs, Enerquip has a team of experienced thermal design engineers that will work with you to determine the best type of heat exchanger for your specific application utilizing HTRI, Compress and SolidWorks software programs. We have previously worked with customers on unique designs that have included:

  • 2in to 48in diameter shells
  • Lengths up to 65ft
  • U-tubes, straight tubes, and multi-pass
  • 304ss, 316Lss, Duplex, AL6XN, Hastelloy and copper nickel materials
  • ASME code stamped TEMA B, C, and R

We typically deliver custom shell and tube stainless steel heat exchangers between six to eight weeks, which is half the lead time of many of our competitors.

Sanitary stainless steel membrane housings

Dairy, brewing and wineries are some of the industries that use sanitary stainless-steel membrane housings for nanofiltration (NF), microfiltration (MF), ultrafiltration (UF), and reverse osmosis (RO) applications. Enerquip provides membrane housings in the form of snap ring, bolted, and tri-clamp designs up to 1,000 PSI. We also offer a 950 PSI snap ring designed to 3A dairy requirements.
