Argelith Bodenkeramik - Fully Vitrified Ceramic Floor Tiles

Argelith Bodenkeramik has produced ceramic tiles and stoneware for heavily-loaded areas in industry and commerce since 1870. Experts believe Argelith manufactures 'the strongest tiles on Earth.'

Argelith Bodenkeramik provides:

  • Raw material dismantling partially from our own deposit
  • More than 10,000m² of products permanently in stock
  • Ceramic clinker tiles and stoneware mvtec®

130 qualified employees ensure both the production of high-quality floor ceramics and precise delivery worldwide.

FULLY VITRIFIED CERAMIC FLOOR TILES

Innovative product developments are a high priority for Argelith Bodenkeramik, in accordance with a way of manufacturing that respects both the environment and resources.

Argelith possesses one of Europe's most advanced factories for the manufacturing of fully vitrified ceramic floor tiles. That's what we have the mvtec (micro-consolidating technologies) quality seal.

Our fully vitrified ceramic floor tiles are made of high-quality raw materials. We set a high value on careful processing of raw materials. Our credo is manufacturing of outstanding fully vitrified ceramic floor tiles whilst conserving the environment for the next generation. Our industrial water, for example, is always almost completely processed.

All our products undergo constant quality supervision from external institutions in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10545 1-17. By using the most advanced techniques, continuous investment, digital steering procedures and a team of qualified and motivated employees we ensure high standards, and therefore match our customers' time, resource-saving and price requirements.

Our fully vitrified ceramic floor tiles provide the following advantages:

  • Strength to handle the highest possible mechanical loads
  • Chemical resistance
  • An ability to be steam-jet cleaned without negative impact
  • Thermal resistance, even over 100°C
  • Repairs can be made at the smallest areas without causing any visible damage
  • Resistance to abrasion
  • No surface glaze
  • No impregnation
  • Consistent density
  • Cost effectiveness

CERAMIC FLOOR SURFACE CLINKER TILES

First designed in 1870, ceramic floor surface clinker tiles are the classic Argelith Bodenkeramik tile, and available in brick-red. They are the definitive solution for fulfilling all of the requirements of a robust and durable floor surface.

Argelith ceramic floor surface clinker tiles are far harder than other floor surfaces, and are available in 15mm, 20mm and 25mm thicknesses. The unglazed tiles are resistant to oils, acids and caustic solutions. At your request, we will supply floor surface clinker tiles with a choice of anti-slip surfaces, fulfilling all of the requirements of trade associations from R10-R13 and V06-V10.

Their durability and ease of maintenance make Argelith ceramic floor surface clinker tiles the preferred floor covering for catering areas.

Argelith's ceramic floor surface clinker tiles fulfil or exceed DIN 18158 standards. They possess:

  • Flexural strength of 30.7N/mm²
  • Pressure strength of 226N/mm²
  • 3% water absorption
  • Acid resistance
  • Caustic solution resistance
  • Frost resistance
  • Abrasive wear of 6.2cm³ / 50cm²
  • Dimensional accuracy
  • Coefficient of linear expansion of 6.7 x 10-6 K-1
  • Resistance to thermal shock

HEXALITH® HEXAGONAL CERAMIC FLOOR TILES

The advantage of Hexalith hexagonal ceramic floor tiles results from the thickness and from the shape. Hexalith hexagonal ceramic floor tiles are especially ideal in wet areas which are heavily treated by chemicals, as well as frequently-used cruising ranges.

Together with the installation using the vibration method (homogeneous floor, installation of mortar bed and tile in one step) a lot of problems will be solved just by using the system.

Hexalith hexagonal ceramic floor tiles are used successfully in companies where the highest mechanic, thermic and chemical resistance is required. Their special characteristics allow easy and thorough clean-up, resulting in less down-time and therefore less cost.
