Westfalia Separator at the Anuga FoodTec 2006: Dairy Technology and Modular Service Package in Focus

Westfalia Separator, Oelde, will be presenting at the Anuga FoodTec in Cologne centrifugal system solutions for the international food industry. The focus of the trade fair presentation will be separator and engineering solutions for the dairy industry along with CapitalCare, a comprehensive service package designed to protect your investment throughout the entire life cycle of the machine.

COLD MILK SEPARATION WITH PROCOOL SEPARATOR

A number of dairies throughout the world are switching to cold milk separation. Westfalia Separator has successfully risen to this challenge and developed the PROCOOL system. This new separator model features performance parameters that no other machine currently on the market can achieve in cold milk separation. At the same time, the PROCOOL separator offers the user additional value with the belt drive or the Protein-Plus-System that boosts protein yield.

NEWLY DESIGNED HIGH-PERFORMANCE COLD MILK SEPARATOR SETS NEW STANDARDS - MSE 500

Equipped with hermetically closed feed and discharge systems for skim milk and cream the new MSE 500 is a useful supplement to the Westfalia Separator high-performance separator range for cream separation at low temperatures. In addition, the new separator is also equipped with the advanced features of the E generation like flat belt drive with frequency converter and precise piston valve based solid discharge system.

The capacity and skimming efficiency of the PROCOOL separator in cold milk separation is not achieved at present by any other machine on the market.

MAXIMUM PROTECTION FOR PREMIUM PRODUCTS - MSE 230

For the dairy technology sector, Westfalia Separator is also exhibiting the skimming separator MSE 230 with self-cleaning bowl as well as the standardising unit STANDOMAT® PROSPEC. The skimming capacity of the MSE 230 covers the range from 20,000L/hr to 30,000L/hr. Equipped with the advanced separator technology of the E-generation such as belt drive and the newest hydrohermetic feed systems, the high-performance MSE models are extremely gentle on the product, reliable and service-friendly.

WESTFALIA SEPARATOR STANDOMAT® PROSPEC

In addition to continuous fat content regulation in the milk, dairies can use the standardising unit type STANDOMAT® PROSPEC to regulate the cream fat content and the dosing of additives like vitamins. The unit compensates feed capacity fluctuations fully automatically.

The new Westfalia Separator STANDOMAT® unit provides a continuous control of the cream fat content and a proportional dosing of additives.

CAPITALCARE – THE EXTRA PLUS SERVICE

The second focus is the service package CapitalCare for maximum availability, absolute budget security and sustained high process efficiency. CapitalCare comprises the modules consulting, service, maintenance and training. To be able to optimally adapt the package to the needs of the customer, each module is individually customisable. The service module, for example, ranges from basic maintenance to preventive complete service care at a flat rate. A further attractive feature is that vital spare parts can be stored at the customer or replaced by a hired part. The condition monitoring module put the specialists from Westfalia Separator in a position to monitor the entire production process online.

DECANTER - CE 205

The exhibition presence of Westfalia Separator at the Anuga FoodTec is rounded off by the new decanter CE 205 with a capacity of up to 2m³/hr. The continuously operating scroll-type centrifuge was developed specifically for medium-sized operations. Use of this decanter enables, for example, a continuous process for the production of wine and juice that reduces process times, work input and hence the variable production unit costs while at the same time delivering demonstrably excellent product quality.

The CE 205 with a 200 mm bowl diameter and a capacity range of up to 2m³/hr is employed in must treatment and fruit juice production.
