METHODS FOR FOODBORNE PATHOGENS

The TRANSIA product family includes tests for a wide range of foodborne pathogens. TRANSIA PLATE Salmonella Gold is a rapid ELISA test. With TP Salmonella Gold you get a result within 36 hours. By using the additional Salmonella Gold TAG 24 supplements, the result from the same enrichment is available in 24 hours.Another alternative is the Transia Card Salmonella.

TRANSIA PLATE Listeria spp., Listeria monocytogenes, E.Coli 0157, and Campylobacter complete the range of microplate-based ELISA tests.

For detection of Staphylococcus Entertoxins a full range of products are available, from immunoaffinity columns to tube and plate methods.All tests are based on sensitive and rapid immunochemical reactions to give fast and accurate results.

CHEMICAL CONTAMINANT MONITORING

Contaminant monitoring is essential for food safety and to conform to regulatory standards. With tests from Raisio Diagnostics you can test for all the relevant allergens quickly and with confidence.

Raisio Diagnostics supply a wide range of mycotoxin tests, in both microplate format and rapid flow-through format, that allow on site testing of, for example, grain or wine.

An extensive selection of methods supports reliable monitoring of hormones and anabolics as well as antibiotics. Unique Tetrasensor tests for detecting tetracyclines in milk and honey are also available as well as stick tests for rapid determination in the field.

QUALITY MONITORING OF MILK, WINE AND OTHER BEVERAGES

Raisio Diagnostics offers a wide range of products for quality monitoring of milk, wine and other beverages. Optimized tests are available for testing of acids and sugars in fruit juices and wine using differential pH technology for quick and easy results. Due to its specificity, the differential pH method is one of the best methods for measuring urea in milk.

Two levels of automation are available - the fully automated Microlab EFA and the semiautomated CL-10 Plus.

For those who prefer the more traditional way of performing enzymatic analysis, Raisio Diagnostics offers a wide range of manual enzymatic kits including EnzyPlus.

GENERAL MICROBIOLOGY

Legionella is one of the most serious water contaminants, especially in air conditioning systems. Raisio Diagnostics offers the sensitive FISH test from Vermicon for quick and accurate Legionella determinations. Other products using the FISH technology are an alicyclobacillus method used, for example, for fruit juices, a method for beer spoiling bacteria and tests for highly fermentative yeasts.
