Production cost savings of up to 50% and a production up-time increase of 25%. These are some of the figures that Tetra Therm Aseptic Sensa can achieve compared to conventional juice processes. The high-performance figures of Tetra Therm Aseptic Sensa, as well as improved product taste, have been proven in commercial plants in Spain, Greece and Kazakhstan.
Continuous Operation
Tetra Therm Aseptic Sensa introduces a unit for continuous blending and pasteurisation of juices. Both processes are performed in one integrated operation. This set-up means significant savings in terms of operational costs, space and labour.
Culinary steam is injected into the concentrated juice, which instantly reaches pasteurisation temperature. Sterile cold water is then added to cool the fruit juice and to blend it to the final product specification. During stable operation, Brix accuracy is guaranteed at ±0,1 °Brix. The heat load on the fruit juice is thus minimised.
The blended and pasteurised fruit juice is fed to a small aseptic buffer vessel before being pumped to a high-performance filling machine. Using an aseptic buffer enables one-pass processing of the fruit juice.
Easy Product Change
The small hold-up volume in the system makes it possible to change product efficiently and with minimal product losses.
If a short filler stoppage occurs, the process can remain in an aseptic holding state without affecting the fruit juice quality, and the recirculation effect on the product is eliminated.
The entire process – start up, production and Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) – is controlled from the operator's interface on the panel.
Up To 9,000l/h
The production unit comes pre-assembled and has been tested with water in our workshop. Installation and start-up are easy. The whole unit is enclosed in a stainless steel cover with wide doors for easy access. These doors are equipped with safety glass for easy inspection.
Tetra Therm Aseptic Sensa is available in various capacities between 3,000l/h and 9,000l/h. Options available for the unit are water pasteurisation and water deaeration.
