Beverage Mixing Cell Demo
On show at Drinktec, the Tetra PlantMaster system demonstrated how easy it is to operate a beverage mixing cell. The automation includes recipe handling, a Tetra Almix powder dissolving unit and some tanks. From this set up, all the smart automation functions can be demonstrated, such as process control, tracking, data acquisition and production analysis.
Safe Beverages
Food safety is in focus and the Tetra PlantMaster system has all the functions for regular traceability. The open international standard makes it easy to adapt the functions to future legal demands.
Work tracking with the Tetra PlantMaster turns invisible events into visible data that is not only used to monitor food production, but also to improve and optimise the operational processes. The decades of experience that Tetra Pak has accumulated on processing and packaging enable the company to write application software programs for high-resolution tracking at all stages of beverage production. This enables Tetra Pak’s customers to gain rapid, detailed and clear information on everything from raw material intake and ingredient mixing to the finished goods warehouse.
The reports, including trend data, CIP function, production data, etc. can be compared over time to extract the desired information, such as target and actual production values, product yields and composition, as well as fault and alarm logging.
Open System
Based on international standards, Tetra PlantMaster can accommodate future computer developments. It can also be integrated with different controllers and HMI systems on the market such as those from Siemens, Wonderware, Alan-Bradley or ABB.
The operator interface is self-instructive and easy for the user to understand and learn. Tetra PlantMaster was launched in 2002 and at present more than 40 systems are in operation at leading beverage and food manufacturers around the world.
