Niro Soavi - High-Pressure Homogenisers and High-Pressure PumpsNiro Soavi, part of the GEA Group, is the leader in the worldwide market of high-pressure homogenisers and high-pressure pumps. Niro Soavi supplies high-pressure homogenisers and high-pressure pumps to a wide range of industries, including the food, dairy products, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical and biotechnology sectors. Niro Soavi produces high-pressure homogenisers and pumps from 100bar to 1,500bar and from 10L/hr to 52,000L/hr capacity. This extensive variety of equipment means we can perfectly suit the specific needs of each individual customer, from small laboratories and research and development facilities to the largest industrial facilities. Niro Soavi is an ISO 9001:2000 and 3-A certified company. Machines supplied by Niro Soavi are fully compliant to the ATEX directive and the cGMP practice, are constructed with approved FDA materials and possess full CE compliance. HIGH-PRESSURE HOMOGENISERSHigh-pressure homogenisers are machines for micronising and stabilizing all types of products. High-pressure homogenisers consist of a high-pressure plunger-type pump, able to pump liquid products of low and high viscosities up to a defined pressure value, and an adjustable homogenizing valve, which creates the pressure and thereby the fluid dynamic effects necessary to micronise the processed product. MONO-BLOCK DESIGN COMPRESSION BLOCKSThe compression block is the vital part of the pumping section, and it is here that the high technological level of Niro Soavi's high-pressure homogenisers is particularly displayed. For machines up to 600bar Niro Soavi applies its mono-block design, in duplex stainless steel, with smooth internal profile for minimising dead-end and recesses and enhancing the machine's lifetime. Advantages of Niro Soavi products over other micronisers include removable valve seats, interchangeability between ball and poppet valves and front access for easy maintenance. MULTI-BLOCK VHP DESIGN COMPRESSION BLOCKSFor machines from 600bar to 1,500bar Niro Soavi applies its multi-block VHP design, in super duplex stainless-steel with split-block construction, for the best resistance to the highest pulsating pressure. Unique features of these machines include special high-pressure gasket configuration and a highly flexible plunger-packing system. All Niro Soavi machines are also available in an aseptic configuration. Aseptic machines can be supplied both for the food and dairy industries, and for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology market sectors. Niro Soavi aseptic machines are custom-designed to meet the specific requirements of the relevant industry. HOMOGENISING VALVESThe homogenising valve is the core of the homogenising process. Niro Soavi homogenising valves are unique in performing the requested degree of micronisation and dispersion at the lowest possible pressure. A wide range of valve geometries is available to meet all possible requests, from cell rupture to emulsion. They are designed to achieve the most efficient particle and droplet size-reduction, and ensure result scalability from the laboratory to production. HOMOGENISER NANOVALVES®The NanoValve is a Niro Soavi-patented high-efficiency valve for large capacities and pressure up to 250bar, especially designed for food and dairy applications. The Niro Soavi NanoValve provides an improvement in many areas of homogenisers. It provides greater performance, extends the life-time of the wear parts, reduces the operative noise, and is more energy-efficient than standard valves. NanoValve can be installed on both new and old Niro Soavi machines, and is also available in aseptic style. OPENXFLO® BLOCKThe OPENXFLO block has been designed to overcome pumpability problems. It is especially effective both on products with agglomerates, and on polymerising or shear-sensitive products like waste-water slurries, latex and polymer nanodispersions, and chemical slurries. The special OPENXFLO block design makes it possible to avoid a build-up of solid forming in your homogeniser or pump. This reduces the risk of such a build-up forcing production to stop, therefore reducing costly down-time. The OPENXFLO block significantly improves the reliability of our homogenisation machines, and therefore increases the cost-efficiency of our customers' companies. NIRO SOAVI CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRESNiro Soavi has customer service centres located all over the world, in order to be as close as possible to all our customers. These centres invariably provide a fast response to your call and prompt action to solve your difficulties. Niro Soavi also possesses research and development and product technology departments that are open for all our customers. Here customers can view our tests of new products and new processes to discover which homogeniser or pump is best suited for their needs.
