WELL BOAT SYSTEM

In close cooperation with the well boat owners and fish farmers, we have developed an integrated well boat concept which safely loads, handles, ships and unloads live fish.

FISH TRANSPORTATION CONTAINER SYSTEM

The MMC TENDOS complete and portable container system for fish transport uses vacuum-pump technology. It has everything you require at a pumping station – including spare parts, ceiling lamps, fuse boxes and workbenches – and can be delivered in 10ft, 20ft or 40ft containers.

Its vacuum pump unit is available in single-pump or twin pack (two vacuum pumps working in sequence, meaning fish are pumped continuously) editions. Standard tank (pump) sizes are from 1,300L to 3,500L.

FISH TRANSPORTATION VACUUM PUMP SYSTEM

The MMC TENDOS vacuum pump system sees fish transported from a ship's hold to a vacuum pump by vacuum pressure. Vacuum compressors ensure the correct vacuum pressure is used.

This process is controlled by the monitoring system, which indicates whether the remote-controlled valves connected to the various holds and the vacuum pump are open or closed.

Once the pumps are full, the vacuum compressor is set to the pressurised position and the fish are pushed from the vacuum pump to the fish / water separator, before reaching the reception facility's weighing system. From the fish / water separator, water is led overboard or back to the respective holds in a return water system.

The vacuum pump system is available in both a single-pump and double pump / twin pack edition. The standard tank sizes are 1,300L to 4,200L, and the standard inlet or outlet valve an ND 300-350-type rubber-flap valve without mechanical control.

Radio remote control of pump operation on deck is also standard, and pipe components, valves, T-pieces and elbows are designed to ensure careful fish transportation. All pipes are made of acid-resistant steel.

VACUUM COMPRESSORS

The vacuum compressors in our container and vacuum pump systems have wearing components in brass and acid-resistant steel, which ensure a long lifetime and low maintenance costs. The maximum suction height is 8.5m, and the maximum discharge height 18m.

PLC-BASED CONTROL SYSTEM

Our container and vacuum pump systems also incorporate a user-friendly, flexible, PLC-based control system.

VACUUM SARDINE PUMP

The fully automatic MMC TENDOS vacuum sardine pump model has been specially designed for handling fish of up to 500g.

The inlet and outlet valves open and close softly, ensuring optimal handling. The compressor unit and control valves are compactly mounted on a single base, providing flexibility and ease of transportation.

LIVE-FISH GRADING

Optimum handling for fish of up to three grades is ensured by wet grading, which ensures that all the water from our new MMC TENDOS twin-pack pumping system (500t/h), leads the fish between the grading profiles.

Above the middle and outlet sections seawater is sprinkled at a rate of approximately 20m³/h.

ROTATING ROLLER FISH GRADING SYSTEM

Our new wet grading with rotating rollers for fish uses a rotating system in combination with sprinkled water, ensuring a waterfilm on the rollers for care and smooth handling. The capacity is 150t/h.

FISH THAWING SYSTEM

MMC TENDOS has successfully delivered several thawing plants for whitefish and pelagics. Through accurate control of temperature and circulation we produce a higher-quality and greater fish yield.

The shape and circulation in the thawing tank gives the best flow conditions, and prevents unthawed areas. A separate thawing process for fillet production prevents salt from getting into the fillets.

Our Optiflux RSW chiller is designed for sea and freshwater cooling.

ICE STORAGE TANK

Our ice storage tank has a unique ice-handling feature, allowing the oldest ice to be delivered first. It has a robust design with minimal moving parts, ensuring low maintenance costs. The outlet ice flow is adjustable.
