Kroma - Fresh Fish Processing and Gutting MachinesKroma work primarily within the fish industry where our gutting machines are sold throughout the world. Even though we also solve other tasks within the food industry we are mostly known for designing and producing turnkey plants for the fish industry, especially high-quality gutting machines. It all started in the beginning of the 1970s, and since then we have produced a number of the well-known Ravnstrup gutting machine. In 2002 Kroma started an extensive development work which has extended our product range considerably with the Gutmaster series. Today Kroma produce gutting machines for both small and large fish, and we strive to be market leaders within development and production of intelligent gutting machines. GUTMASTER - NEW RANGE OF GUTTING MACHINESNo matter which Gutmaster machine you choose, your production will be characterised by efficiency, reduced costs, and uniform gutting. The product range is divided into Gutmaster 750 and Gutmaster 1200 processing portion fish (0.1kg), where Gutmaster 1200 is recommended for larger factories. Common for both Gutmaster 750 and Gutmaster 1200 is that the machines can be ordered for different fish types like e.g. trout, mackerel, sea bass, sea bream, tilapia etc. The larger Gutmaster 8000 is especially designed for gentle processing of salmon and sea trout, but it can also be used for other types of fish. CLOSE ACCURACY AND MINIMUM WASTE All the Gutmaster machines are electronically controlled. The Gutmaster 1200 and Gutmaster 8000 measure all the fish which are processed through the machine. Depending on the measurement the knives will be adjusted to the actual fish size. This clearly gives a better result of the processed fish. Another advantage is that it is possible to process a larger range of fish through the machine than with traditional machines where the fish have to be sorted prior to gutting. UTILISING ROE AND OTHER PARTS OF THE BOWELS Kroma have specialised in gutting machines where it is possible to utilise all parts of the fish and not just the flesh. An example is the Gutmaster 8000 which combines the highly automated process of opening the fish automatically and then removing the roe manually. In this way the roe is treated carefully and can be used for delicacy of various kind. KROMA CLEAN - REMOVAL OF WASTE BY MEANS OF VACUUMIn a typical processing plant there is a lot of waste from all the processes. With the Kroma Clean system it is possible to remove the waste from the processing area without any use of forklift. The Kroma Clean system keeps the dirt away from the waste so it is possible to utilise the waste for a number of purposes. The system is designed for the individual processing plant from "Kroma design bricks", such as vacuum pump units, waste containers, etc. COMPLETE SOLUTIONS Kroma supply complete solutions with all the peripheral equipment for a gutting machine. This can be automated infeed systems, conveyor solutions, or other customer demanded equipment.
