Arenco is the owner and manufacturer of the VMK brand, one of the most famous fish processing lines in the world. VMK provide all you need for processing of pelagic fish, such as sprats, anchovy, kilka, herring, mackerel, horse mackerel, blue whiting and similar fish.

Arenco is an engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of machinery and solutions for high-speed product transportation, handling and packaging, as well as machinery for pelagic fish processing.

The machinery range includes machinery for all stages, from head cutting to ready filets. Together with our packaging and handling machines VMK can provide you with integrated turnkey solutions, which convert unprocessed fish into ready packaged fish products.

FISH FILLETING EQUIPMENT

VMK produces automatic handling systems with an elevator and feeder that secure the position of the fish de-heading machines with or without the evicera left inside (known as nobbing). The company also manufactures reliable filleting machines for single or butterfly fillets, and special skinning machines for both herring and horse mackerel inline with the filleting unit.

FISH SCALING MACHINERY

The company produces skin-off fillets with an admirable silver surface. Scaling machines efficiently scale the fish, including removal of the hard side scales (scutes) on a range of fish, including horse mackerel.

FISH TITBIT CUTTERS

Arenco has recently developed the Titbit cutter for small pieces of fish, as well as vision systems with an extremely short payback time.

The extremely high material quality and robust design of Arenco's machinery and equipment result in low running costs and comparable low spare part expenses.

All components in VMK machines are manufactured from highly anti-corrosive materials; stainless steel or plastic and are easy to clean and service. VMK machines are equipped with safety equipment according to the European CE-machine directive.
