With Flexobar HSB Kobusch-Sengewald (Warburg/Halle, Westph.) offers a transparent, sturdy tubular bag film for MAP-packaging equipped with a special sealing layer providing a safe sealing – even through fatty residues. This special sealing layer prevents the development of so-called tubules in the critical seam area of the packaging. Tubular bags made of Flexobar HSB are even gas-proof if processed on horizontal or vertical form-fill-and-seal packaging machines at very high production speeds. Kobusch-Sengewald is one of the few manufacturers in the market offering this kind of high-speed film.
Tubular bags made of Flexobar HSB offer furthermore the advantage of having an extremely high puncture resistance and therefore can even be equipped with a European standard hole if containing heavy food such as salami or hard cheese. The tubular bag film does not only offer a very high aroma protection and best preserving properties, the middle layer of the transparent film can furthermore be printed free of scratches and abrasions for an optically attractive design.
