Rexnord® SG 1005 TCF MatTop Chains Introduced at InterpackPower, Precision, Performance for Returnable Crate Handling!

Rexnord has developed a new version of the well known SuperGrip 1005 series: SG 1005 TCF.
This new type is the best available belt for metering and break conveyors for returnable crates.
TCF stands for Tough Composite Friction top; the light grey coloured material has proven to be two to three times more wear resistant than Acetal in specific applications. The new clips to retain the metal rods are flush with the edge of the belt and not exposed at the top surface of the belt.
The reusable clip closes the hinge eye completely, offering a secure lock and can be operated from the side and from below. TCF belts have stainless steel pins, to offer maximum resistance to elongation (wear of hinge and pin).
This MatTop chain profits from the qualities of one inch pitch 1005 heavy-duty belts. The robust design and high strength meet the most demanding applications in beverage and packaging applications. The high friction elastomere surface and the special design of the rubber make them perfectly suitable for crate handling and packages on inclined, declined and metering conveyors.
Besides this Rexnord will show numerous innovations in conveying technology to improve productivity:
- Fortrex pasteurizer belt; the first ever metal chain for pasteurizers, taking care of huge outputs without processing difficulties, will certainly steal the show
- Steel chains; among others 661-series for better product stability, lower noise and lower energy consumption
- Plastic chains; for packaging purposes especially the LBP chains will be highlighted.
- Components; new Marbett bearings, leveling elements, stiff roller guides and many other parts for conveyors will be shown.
