The new HabasitLINK® plastic modular-belt M3843 Tight Radius GripTop 1.5in is the solution for spirals, tight curves and inclined applications for food processing and materials handling. In other words, one product serves for several different applications, meaning fewer transfers and therefore continuously and smoothly-conveyed goods.
With a collapse factor of 1.6, the new HabasitLINK® M3843 Tight Radius GripTop 1.5in needs 30% less space than 2.2 belt types. For a 250mm wide belt the smallest diameter is 750mm. Thus, this belt is ideal for narrow spirals.
Available in FDA-conform Polypropylene and Polyacetal materials, the product is excellent for bakery, fish, meat, poultry, dairy, fruit, vegetable and material-handling applications.
The 4mm (0.16in) thick, positive-fit-to-module rubber ensures reliable transport - especially on inclinations - and a long belt-lifespan.
On request, the M3843 Tight Radius GripTop 1.5in is available with steel rods, snap-in side guards or hold-down taps. Design advice and belt calculation can be provided by Habasit if needed.
