Friesland Foods Kievit provides a range of health and fat ingredients for food and infant formulæ. These include nutritional oil powders with high amounts of n-3 and n-6 fatty acids, nutritional oil powders with customer-specific acid profiles, and base mixes for infant nutrition.

Friesland Foods Kievit also offers micro-encapsulated MCT oil powders, and develops creamers with healthy fatty acid profiles for soups, sauces and bakery applications, coffee creamers, and cappuccino foamers.

VANA-SANA NUTRITIONAL OIL POWDERS

Vana-Sana nutritional oil powders are a range of encapsulated oil powders with a high content of n-3 and n-6 Long Chain Poly Unsaturated Fatty Acids (LC-PUFAs), such as EPA and DHA, or products with other nutritional oils containing high Poly Unsaturated Fatty Acids (PUFA) levels.

LC-PUFAs do not remain stable when kept in an unconditioned environment, but age rapidly. Converting nutritional functional oils into stable powders extends their shelf life and increases the number of possible applications (for example acid-stable DHA powder). These include products which reduce the chance of cardiovascular diseases, and others which stimulate brain development in children.

VANA-CAPPA CAPPUCCINO FOAMERS

We supply over 20 different types of Vana-Cappa cappuccino powdered foaming-agents based on dairy ingredients, vegetable fats and carbohydrates.

They are perfect for use in instant drinks such as cappuccinos and chocolate drinks: when hot or cold water, or coffee, is poured onto the powder, it creates a stable and attractive layer of foam. In addition, Vana-Cappa cappuccino foamers give instant drinks a full, milky flavour.

VANA-CHOCA INSTANT CHOCOLATE DRINKS

Thanks to its integrated spray-drying / agglomeration process, Friesland Foods Kievit is able to offer complete Vana-Choca instant chocolate drinks. These chocolate powders can also be used in various dry mixes in other applications or formulations.

VANA-BLANCA CREAMERS

Our extensive range of dairy and non-dairy Vana-Blanca creamers / whiteners are ideal for use as coffee and tea creamers, or as an ingredient in instant chocolate drinks.

Within this broad range, the creamers have specific characteristics depending on your needs, such as solubility, even in cold water; foaming properties; and extra stability in hard water, at high temperatures, or at various pH values.

VANA-DULCE LECHE POWDERS

Vana-Dulce caramelised, sweetened, condensed dulce de leche milk powders are based on milk derivatives and sugar. Dulce de leche powders have a full, natural flavour and do not contain any additives.
