Allied Biotech Corporation Launches New Line of Non-Ringing Beta-Carotene Emulsions at the IFT in Chicago

In line with its position as 'The Carotenoid Company', Allied Biotech is now introducing two new high potency cold water dispersible Beta-carotene powders.
Altratene 10% WSC is a highly versatile beta-carotene formulation, which enables the food manufacturer to achieve an orange colour shade. "The starch based matrix of this new product eliminates allergen, GMO- and BSE concerns for the food manufacturer", says Lars B Rasmussen, Sales & Marketing Manager at Allied Biotech. "Besides, competitive studies have demonstrated that our new materials show superior pH and light stability".
Allied Biotech is also launching Altratene 5% WSC at the IFT show in Chicago. This product is a cost effective alternative to the well known 1% CWS powders on the market. Allied Biotech is the only company on the market, who offers a high potency product in this category. “We have basically taken the best of the experiences we have gained from our 1% WSC product and packed it into a high potency alternative that incorporates quality improvement on all significant levels”, says Lars B Rasmussen. The product is GMO, BSE, allergen and animal free.
