Allied Biotech Corporation Develops a New Line of Non-Ringing Beta-Carotene Emulsions

02 July 2007

Allied Biotech Corporation has developed a new line of revolutionary non-ringing beta-carotene emulsions. Manufactured through innovative formulation technologies, these new products are especially targeted at high quality beverage and food manufacturers, who seek a solution to their ringing issues. At the same time, the new formulations have shown remarkable stability towards heat, light and pH exposure.

The new product line also addresses another prevalent issue in the food industry, namely the exclusion of allergens and animal derived ingredients, such as pig, bovine or fish gelatine.

"This is a perfect example of how our scientist have combined many years of accumulated formulation expertise into a line of products that addresses key issues in today’s food industry", says Lars B Rasmussen, Sales and Marketing Manager for Allied Biotech Corp. "Now beverage and food manufacturers can eliminate the unpleasant effects of ringing while enhancing their label declaration by excluding allergens and animal derived ingredient".

The new formulations will initially be offered in 2% and 3% concentrations, and marketed under Allied's brand names Altratene 2% FT-NR and Altratene 3% FT-NR.

Allied Biotech Corporation is a basic manufacturer of carotenoids. As 'the carotenoid company', Allied aims to be the preferred provider of carotenoid solutions to the food, pharma, feed and cosmetic industries. Therefore the key focus is to bring innovative formulations to the market, which are unrivalled in terms of quality and stability.
