WP-L - Baking Equipment, Automatic Ovens and Roll Baking Plants

Werner & Pfleiderer Lebensmitteltechnik GmbH (WP-L) is one of the leading suppliers to the baking industry all over the world. We develop and build machines, systems and complete production lines and factories for the production of fresh and frozen baked products. Our experience runs all the way from raw material handling through mixing, forming, proving, baking and freezing and from small artisan bakeries to large industrial baking plants.

During its 125-year history, WP-L has always concentrated on innovative products that facilitate the daily work of bakers. Many patents have formed the basis for the continuous success of the company and its customers. WP-L inventions have almost always set the standards in the branch.

Examples are the first universal mixer, the first steam-heated oven and the first Matador multi-deck oven with the perfect Cyclotherm heating system. High degrees of rationalisation, economic efficiency and best baking quality have always been the focus points for customers. This will not change in the future.

Since 1996, the company has belonged to the Horstmann Group under the name Werner & Pfleiderer Lebensmitteltechnik.

BAKY AUTOMATIC BAKING SYSTEM – FRESH ROLLS, ALL DAY, EVERY DAY

The Baky automatic baking system is a fully automatic, circulating air oven specifically designed for baking off par-baked bread rolls. In contrast to the bread-rolls offered by many bake-off stations, whether in supermarkets, gas stations or bakery outlets, Baky produces consistently high quality products time after time with minimal labour costs.

Baky is set to create another new standard. WP-L is looking for partners to exploit the Baky system around the world.

ROTOTHERM AND UNITHERM – HIGH-PERFORMANCE RACK OVENS WITH ROTATING AND STATIONARY TROLLEYS

The present generation of the Rototherm and Unitherm Professional-line ovens with the Navigo control system is an example of perfected operating comfort in dynamic design. The ergonomic design of the operating system consistently focuses on the requirements of the operator. Labour-saving features and pleasant optical design increase work performance and intensify a sense for quality. The use of only the best materials lengthens the service life of the oven and ensures that it retains its value.

MATADOR – MULTI-DECK OVEN

The Matador multi-deck oven provides more than the best possible baking results. Large rugged handles are easy to grip for oven doors and steam vents. Large displays, visible from a distance, provide current information at all times. Navigo's simple oven control system guarantees reassuring operational safety. High ovens provide for easy loading and unloading. Sturdy materials can survive hard knocks. That's just some of what our customers are looking for - and that's what they find in the new Matador multi-deck oven range.

MEGADOR – LARGE-CAPACITY AUTOMATIC DECK OVEN

The Megador large capacity automatic deck oven is extremely flexible because it is composed of individual ovens that can be separately controlled. This means that it is possible to create distinct temperature zones for particular products or temperature zones across the whole oven. The Megador, which can be supplied with either thermo-oil or Cyclothermic heating, can behave like a tunnel oven or a deck oven depending on the application.

The modular building system of the Megador means that an oven can be custom-made to suit the present production requirements of a bakery but can be extended at any time if necessary.

ROLL BAKING PLANTS

WP-L provides a range of roll baking plants for all types of rolls. These include:

  • Formprofi - the new compact roll baking plant with integrated head machine (ideal for kaiser rolls, smooth rolls, star rolls, rose rolls, and pressed rolls)
  • Rollprofi - the new compact roll baking plant with integrated head machine (ideal for slit rolls, smooth rolls, long rolled products, double pieces)
  • Selecta - perfect formed and cut rolls and even more from just one machine
  • Multiroll - the new multi functional line for rolled products impresses with both high performance and simple handling
