Using the latest technology, we produce a broad spectrum of high-quality equipment and custom-made solutions. CONTACT COOKERSOur contact cookers cook food continuously between two cooking belts. Formcook's contact cookers utilise the principle of cooking food by transferring heat between two bodies by direct contact. This is achieved by placing the foodstuff between the two cooking belts as it runs over the heating platens. The energy is transferred from the heating platens through the cooking belt and over to the product. The belts are cleaned regularly to maintain consistent and high food standards. Contact cooking closes the surface cells of the cooked food product, resulting in increased yield and improved end product quality. We can produce a healthy product. The contact cooker is available with a variety of accessory options that can be customised to suit different products, including oil applicators and heating platens with grill marks. We supply models with belt widths from 440mm up to 1,500mm. Different sizes can be designed to suit clients' requirements. CONVECTION OVENS - HOT AIR STEAM COOKERS (HSC)Formcook's convection ovens provide a perfect combination of steam and high temperature, making them a cost-effective cooking machinery investment. We recommend the convection oven as a complement to our other processing equipment. For example, a convection oven could be installed after our contact cooker in a production line to achieve the correct core temperature in the food product. Our convection ovens can heat air up to a maximum 280°C, are designed to standard widths of 600mm and 1,000mm and feature a stainless wire belt that enables steam to be applied from both sides of the product. The ovens can be specially designed to clients' specifications. COMBI COOKERSCombining the practicality of a traditional convection oven with the unique advantages of contact cooking, the combi cooker is one of Formcook's patented products. Food products are cooked on a solid cooking belt that runs over heating platens. Steam and hot air provide the necessary temperature and colour. Halfway through the process, if required, the product can be flipped to give both sides the same appearance. This is the markets most versatile oven, allowing all types of solid and viscous products to be processed with high yield. The product will have a home-made appearance. Our combi cookers heat air up to a maximum 280°C, are manufactured in standard widths of 600mm and 1,100mm. On larger machines it is possible to combine several heating units in series to provide the required output. The ovens can be specially designed to clients' specifications. FORMING MACHINE - Wiking 6The Wiking 6 forming machine is designed for reliability and operational stability and can be installed in most industrial environments. Formcook's forming machine ensures gentle and precise product handling in the field of low pressure forming. The Wiking 6 can be quickly be adapted for a variety of products with a range of forming devices and a ball roller unit. A doubler is also available as an optional extra to widen the product width from 575mm to 1,150mm. ABOUT FORMCOOKAll machines are built in our factory in Helsingborg, Sweden. We employ locally contracted companies, with whom we maintain long and understanding relationships. We develop and manufacture equipment that enables continuous food processing. Our equipment gives food manufacturer every opportunity to produce nourishing food. We run a 200m2 tech centre that customers can use to test new machinery or trial existing / new food products on our machines. The Tech centre makes it possible for us to determine the most suitable machinery for our customers' products.
