Spiral Freezer Operators Benefit from Starfrost Service Deal

Starfrost (UK) Ltd has further strengthened its position in the spiral freezing and chilling sector by announcing a deal with an equipment service and maintenance company.
Freezing and chilling equipment specialist Starfrost has signed a co-operation agreement with Freezer Services Limited. The firm specialises in the service and maintenance of spiral freezers.
Starfrost's support team will be bolstered by Freezer Services' on-site expertise. The two companies will offer Starfrost customers across the UK a 'one stop shop' for servicing all makes and models of spiral system, including self stacking systems from other manufacturers.
Established for over 20 years, Starfrost specialises in the design and manufacture of industrial freezers and chillers, including robust spiral systems. Starfrost's helix spirals have a low tension, flat belt design for ultimate durability and require minimal maintenance.
Commenting on the agreement with Starfrost, Managing Director of Freezer Services Howard Swain says: "We were always impressed by the build quality of Starfrost's products. Even though there are relatively few service opportunities for Starfrost's flat belt low tension systems, we are looking forward to working with Starfrost customers and gaining a greater understanding of their requirements."
Starfrost Director John Wadeson says: "The agreement with Freezer Services will enable UK customers that have both new Starfrost machines and older self stacking designs, to access expert service capability from one team. Food manufacturers that operate older systems and no longer have maintenance teams in-house are increasingly calling on us to provide expert bi-annual inspection assistance for a variety of equipment."
John Wadeson adds: "As well as making sure operators are running machines correctly, we also provide advice on the accompanying refrigeration systems to ensure as much overall efficiency as possible. Achieving minimal freezing and chilling cost per kilogram is every client's aim, and ours as well."
