Haas-Mondomix B.V. is a worldwide supplier of continuous aeration equipment, whether it is a whole line or unit machines. The capacity range reaches from 10kg/hr to 5,000kg/hr. The aerators can be found in all sectors of the food industry, but also in the non-food industry we are selling more and more of our aerators. MONDOMIX AERATION TECHNOLOGYContinuous aeration of food products is a well-established phenomenon. Providing textural changes to the product, amongst others, is one attribute and by replacing material with air is a second. The heart of the Mondomix aeration system is the mixing head, consisting of a rotor-stator combination, which are both fitted with pins. These pins are designed in such a way that they provide optimal and constant sheer to the product and give the best possible bubble size distribution under a controlled pressure SPARK ERODED CUTTING - ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINING (EDM) AERATOR MIXING HEADSCurrently all pins on the rotor and stator are vacuum welded to the body. Although this suffices for 95% of the applications, there are always other applications that require a higher standard. Some 10 years ago Haas-Mondomix produced a number of 'spark eroded' mixing heads for specialty applications. Spark erosion is a high precision cutting technique to form a pre-programmed shape and is also known as EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining). This production technique was, in those days, too expensive to be widely used for all other applications, but now Haas-Mondomix is able to offer these types of mixing heads at competitive prices. The Haas Group, of which Haas-Mondomix is part of, has an EDM machine available to produce the mixing heads in house. The main reason for using EDM manufactured heads is to avoid welding / soldering to the mixing pins. Please contact us for more information on these mixing heads. AERATION CONFECTIONERY - CONTINUOUS AERATION OF FAT BASED CREAMS AND CHOCOLATESHaas-Mondomix has developed excellent product opportunities for confectionery, biscuit and wafer manufacturers with continuous aeration of fat based creams and chocolates. Fat based creams can be made from fat blocks or liquid fat, each requiring their specific process. The applications are numerous, and Haas-Mondomix will gladly provide you with more in-depth information in this respect, and present you our proven solutions to meet your production requirements. Haas-Mondomix also specialises in chocolate, micro and macro aeration. There are already more than 35 lines in operation. Haas-Mondomix is not only aeration; we have supplied many turnkey projects to the confectionery industry, and let us work with you to optimise your production. AERATION DAIRY - XYZ DEPOSITOR FOR AERATED CREAM, BATTERS AND MARSHMALLOWSThe XYZ depositor is suitable to deposit all types of aerated creams and batters and marshmallows. To give you an idea of lines we have currently in production please look at the multi-talent marshmallow chicks (XYZ deposited) picture to the right. The XYZ depositor unit allows depositing 2-D or 3-D shapes and is freely programmable to provide ultimate product flexibility. Various types of manifolds are available to allow encapsulated products as well (i.e. marshmallow with a filling). Marshmallow can be extruded in continuous ropes on starch dusted conveyors, cut in to individual articles, which may thereafter have a profile shape of a house, snowman, chicken, lion, melon, strawberry, or it may be deposited as a simple 'drop' onto a conveyor or into a starch mould. It can be deposited onto a biscuit and covered with coconut or chocolate. Haas-Mondomix has been servicing the confectionery industry for more than 30 years.
